ADDING BORDERS ON A QUILT
To make a border with straight-cut corners:

2. Cut two borders the average length and pin them to opposite sides of the quilt. Match the ends and centers then gently ease in any fullness.
3. Pin, sew, and press.
4. Repeat for the top and bottom borders measureing the width, averaging, etc.
QUILT BACKING
1. The backing fabric should be 6-8 inches longer on each side than your quilt top.
2. Feel free to indicate the direction of the backing seam
3. Make sure the backing is square. There will be an additional charge if squaring the backing is required before quilting.
